Most of our tasks are highly cognitive in nature. Deep uninterrupted concentration is often needed to deliver spectacular artwork. Whether you are writing a user story, writing back to a client, doing quality testing, investigating a challenge, designing, or coding, we could all benefit from exercising deep work. The more intense your focus is, the better the quality of your output will be.
However, this also means that when we’re distracted and constantly interrupted, the quality of our output can be compromised too.
