We must learn to explore and figure out a solution on our own to get everything we need to complete the task. Escalations are meant as a last resort after we have exhausted all our resources, not as a quick escape route from the hard things. So be mindful when seeking assistance.
When you need help, ask HOW not WHAT. Don’t simply demand the right answer, ask for guidance on the process of finding the right answer and do the digging yourself. Don’t just bring problems to anybody, use your creative mind and present a suggested solution for your insight to weigh in. The ‘HOW’ will enable you to open opportunities and learn while the ‘WHAT’ just gives you mind and body paralysis and people dependence.
It’s not what happens that determines the quality or the quantity of your life. What people do, that’s what’s different.
