Take Action to Avoid Stress

1 Mins read

Temporary stress is normal as it is our natural response to challenges and demands. However, prolonged stress, when not addressed, can lead to major health problems both physical and mental, but the worst-case scenario can lead to chronic stress. Hence, it is important to determine where the stress is coming from. Oftentimes, we tailor stress to working too much, being pressured at work, or having heavy workloads but Sir Jeff Bezos is telling us something different.

Stress doesn’t come from hard work. Stress primarily comes from not taking action over something that you can have control over.– Jeff Bezos

Our journey towards success can be stressful, but it should not be overwhelming that it can already affect the result of work. Just TAKE ACTION. Effective time management is crucial for taking action. Use tools like calendars or to-do lists to organize your tasks. Allocate specific time slots for each activity and avoid distractions. Prioritizing tasks ensures that you focus on what truly matters. Learn from setbacks. Analyze what went wrong, adjust your plan, and keep moving forward. Persistence and resilience are key to long-term success.
