In life, we experience pain as it is inevitable. Sometimes, bad things come out and hit us out of nowhere. But always be reminded that as long as we’re alive, there is hope.
What I have learned from Viktor Frankl’s book ‘Man’s Search for Meaning‘ is while we cannot avoid pain, we have a choice in how to respond to pain. This is what our culture of accountability teaches us. We have no control over the nature of life. The challenges, pain, and obstacles are life’s natural circumstances. However, we need to take full ownership and choose the right actions for the given circumstances so we can serve our lives better.
Each of us has the power to choose the outcome of every encounter and what exactly the pain will be for:
Pain to destroy us or pain to form us?

What if Your blessings come through raindrops?
What if Your healing comes through tears?
What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know you’re near?
And what if trials of this life are your mercies in disguise?
